Jennifer Zhao is an independent educational consultant, and associate member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association). Based in Portland, Oregon, Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornell University’s College of Engineering and Masters of Engineering in Microsystems from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

In her college years, she took advantage of internships opportunities at Stanford University and the Cleveland Clinic. Upon graduation, she conducted engineering research at a Fortune 50 company for over 11 years. Jennifer is currently a member of the Board of Education at the Niskayuna Central School District.

With more than 12 years’ experience as an admissions interviewer for Cornell, Jennifer is passionate about helping students discover their strengths and shape their future. Jenn’s students have not only earned admission into top universities, but also gained clarity and insight in their personal career paths. Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English, Jenn loves supporting students and families throughout their education journeys.
